RE:  My Experience with Devon Rogers as a Realtor (Jun/July 2010)

Selling my family home and purchasing a smaller one for just me was a very stressful task.  I was afraid that I would not be able to find anything that I would be happy with or that met my needs.  I had a long list of all the critical items I was looking for and the type of things that I did not want in my new home.  To some realtors this list could have been daunting.  Devon Rogers took this list and with a confident smile reassured me that my house was out there and that we would find it.  He actually made me believe that this would happen.

Devon took so much of the work off my shoulders in looking for my new home.  He truly listened to my needs and explored so many different avenues in trying to locate possibilities for me.  Devon did not only rely on using only the traditional techniques of conducting searches on MLS, speaking to other realtors, and scouting out open houses.  The difference with Devon is his focus on going above and beyond other realtors.  Devon utilized his skills and enthusiasm in setting up automated searches that emailed me possible places as soon as they came online, he drafted letters to be distributed in complexes that I was interested in to try and entice people who were thinking about selling, and he checked on the safety and security of possible neighborhoods.

I was very selective in what I wanted in my new home.  We looked at so many places and I was ready to give up on having everything on my list. Devon encouraged me to keep looking for the perfect 10.  He never pushed, became impatient, or gave up on finding me exactly what I wanted.  Finally after looking at over 40 places we found a place that was perfect.  What makes Devon such a special realtor is his amazing work ethic, his priority of almost instantaneous communication and his sincere approach to every step of this process.  Through this search Devon made me feel like he was trying to find the perfect house for a friend or family member.  He never lost his enthusiasm, creative strategies, or commitment to me – his customer.    During this entire process Devon always made me feel like I was his most important client. 

I have lived in my new townhouse for the last month and cannot believe how perfectly this place fits me and my lifestyle.  Devon took the time to get to know me and focused more on meeting my needs than quickly closing a deal.
